(A) Offering a cool pair of Modernist/Deco bronze sconces from the 30s or 40s. These are particularly fetching as the Southwest-invoking shades are warm and inviting, offering a nice contrast to the spare design of the backs. They're about 12 1/2 inches high and 4 1/4 wide. Oh, but to have a spot in own home for these! (e-mail Jack to start the conversation)
(B) Wow, I could sell a thousand of these in a heartbeat, too bad I only have one! And my heart does beat wildly for it, such a great combination of Deco and Machine Age design. The milk glass shade does have a few "flea bites" around the top, so it goes. The metal (all solid brass) has been rechromed and is impeccable, and rewired of course. This sconce looks best with 11" incandescent bulbs; it's about 15 inches high and 3 3/4 wide, projecting a mere 2 1/2 inches. For that very special place...(e-mail Jack to start the conversation)
(C) This knock-out dragon sconce is a combination of brass and iron, all hand-wrought, on a back plate that itself has a certain winged appearance. The switch works fine and is original and OLD. I'm guessing that the sconce was created around 1910... The socket's original, too (for we diehard lighting "enthusiasts" such matters count). The wiring? It's original and working just fine ("If it ain't broke, don't fix it."). Top to bottom, about 12 inches. (e-mail Jack to start the conversation)
(D) This single sconce, with its Art Nouveau-inspired whiplash, is solid brass and sooo 1910! It projects about 11 inches from the wall. (e-mail Jack to start the conversation)
