Here's the middle section of the
famous Parker Pen display case, which originally had two display
"towers," one on either side (don't even ask). For
the discerning pen collector, this is a must. There's all sorts
of storage in the back, and the interior is velvet-lined. The
mounting around the glass is solid bronze (which needs a polishing).
The glass in front slides to either side for easy entry, and
there's a glass shelf which normally rests about half way up
(you can see it in the photo, on the interior at the bottom).
"Parker" is deeply etched into the glass. There's a
lighting system, which I believe was all neon, both on the interior
of the lower display area and around the top. You'll have to
get those working again. Obviously, as are visible in the photo,
there are some veneer chips, which are easily remedied. It's
quite heavy, a substantial piece of wood and glass display furniture
from another era... The overall measurements are 48 wide, 18
deep, 40 high. There are scratches on the top piece of glass,
from normal wear, but it just lifts off and would be easily replaced.
