(17) "Wood Nymph," by Louis-Joseph-Raphael-Collin (French, 1850-1916); oil on canvas, signed lower right. The artist studied under Bouguereau and Cabanel, exhibiting at the Paris Salon from 1873 to 1875, as well as the Exposition Universelle; he won the Grand Prix in 1889. Measurements: 18 by 13 inches; with frame, 23 x 18.

(18) This 18th English Century unsigned watercolor hails from the Circle of William Pars. It's slightly faded with light handling creases, but with beautifully drawn figures and highly detailed architecture. Measurements: 14 1/4 by 20 1/4 inches; with frame, 21 1/2 x 27.

(19) LOUIS JOSEPH RAPHAEL COLLIN (French, 1850-1916). "The Blue Kimono," oil on canvas, 15 l/8 x 22 inches, 22 x 28 inches framed.
Collin studied under Bouguereau and Cabanel. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1873-1875. He won the "Grand Prix" at the Exposition Universelle in 1889. His work is represented in museum collections worldwide.
